Attached – draft 2010 senior draw.
Glenn and I would have liked to distribute this earlier, however, the Illawarra Premier League Soccer draw was only distributed on Tuesday – you will recall that Avondale Rugby and Dandaloo Soccer share their ground with Dandaloo Soccer having priority in the draw. After waiting for their draw, we found that the Soccer draw (although being a 12 team draw as is the RU draw), the Soccer don’t play on the same dates as we do and thus synchronisation of the draws isn’t possible. However verbally the Soccer have advised that Dandaloo wish to play Sunday home dates so all may end up OK with a couple of date clashes at Gerry Capetta Oval (awaiting formal confirmation of their Sunday dates).
A reminder of the procedures adopted to form the draft draw.
Special dates?
Steps:
Cheers,
John

As we move into the New Representative Season, a few reminders with the sanctioning of trial games.
Any club within your zone, that wishes to trial against another club within another zone within NSWCJRU or SJRU. The club through their Zone is to notify NSWCJRU or NSWCRU of this trial. The dates and trial will be recorded in NSWCRU or NSWCJRU’s database and the trial will be then sanctioned. Please be advised, that trial games that are not sanctioned by NSWCJRU or NSWCRU will place that organisation at risk of liability if a player or participant is injured.
SANCTIONING OF GAMES
Club vs Club both clubs within own Zone: Zone to sanction Game
Club vs Club that is outside their own Zone (including Sydney or other state club teams): NSWCRU or NSWCJRU to sanction Game
Zone vs Zone trial games: NSWCRU or NSWCJRU to Sanction game
Zone vs other Union teams, (Sydney or other state rep teams): NSWCRU or NSWCJRU to Sanction Game
This action is mandatory for all NSWCRU and NSWCJRU Clubs and Zone teams to complete before a team is to participate in the game. In the 2009 Season, many trial games took place that were not sanctioned for insurance purposes and we were lucky that no-one was injured.
Please ensure all your club members are aware of this requirement before they commence their trials for the 2010 Season.
All that is required is an email to illawarrarugby@y7mail.com with the following information:
For Juniors you will receive an email back sanctioning the trials/games and the details will appear on the NSWCJRU Website www.countryjuniors.com.au in the Zone Calendar section.
